Since our company opened its doors in 2000, we’ve treated every customer like they were a part of our family. History
The business suffered a fire during a Thanksgiving week in 2014 and has re-established in the same location. Inevitably, the the owners faced dire consequences without business for over a year and a half. With the power and love of our lord, we gracefully got up on our feet and worked tirelessly to get our beautiful laundromat back on its feet as well. Luckily the business reopened during the last week of May 2015. The establishment has been renovated completely with new washers, dryers, bathroom, offices, boilers, and closets. The decor was painted in a peach orange color to symbolize a sunny new beginning. Ultimately, thats what we hope everyone here experiences, a fresh brand new beginning alongside their nicely laundered clothes. Its name has been changed from Elco Laundromat to Borinquen Laundromat and welcomes a wide diverse group of customers daily from and to New York and New Jersey from the Path train.
